He's gotten 1 pole and 2 wins this season and he's got a team mate that's next to useless for the constructers never mind a driver title challenge and since I don't think Red Bull will be improving to a level of dominance where he and Gasly can get consistent 1-2's he won't be getting a championship in the near future against that Merc.

Next year imo. RB will be the team to beat and Ferrari the nearest challenger
As for Merc, they are now facing the diminshing returns. PU nothing special, ugrades suck, they have lost many of the original staff,over confidence etc Only thing that saved them was tyre issue but now teams have got to the bottom of it.
2020 will be an important turning point in the hybrid era.
