Best driver: Verstappen, Hamilton, Kimi, Vettel, Sainz, Russel...
Worst driver: Gasly
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: All did well
Best overtake: Don't know, thank you TV director
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Bottas
Best moment: Verstappen defending before Ham other pitstop.
Worst moment: None
DRS + tyres + other: Lottery

And the race in a sentence: Feel-good race before holidays. Everybody performed well, even Gasly got some points, Williams improved, no stupid penalties. I think it was a good way to end the first half of the season

Best driver: Two great drives from both Hamilton and Verstappen, but I'll give the edge to Hamilton. Beautiful to see!
Worst driver: Bottas's race was ruined by having to stop early after a racing incident on the first lap (i.e. nobody's fault, just one of those things), so, it's between Gasly and Stroll
Best team: Mercedes. That wasn't just the car or the engine. That was a proper TEAM win
Worst team: Renault. What the hell, considering their budget?
Best overtake: Hamilton on Verstappen, the final one
Worst overtake: Grosjean went out early, so...  :p
Best moment: Watching Hamilton catching up Verstappen. We had an actual *race*
Worst moment: The TV director needs to go. Crowd shots in the middle of a battle?
DRS + tyres + other: Good.

And the race in a sentence: This wasn't given; this was EARNED

Best driver: Hamilton

Worst driver: Bottas
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault
Best overtake: Hamilton over Verstappen at the end, drama, importance, difficulty all there.
Worst overtake: I don't understand this question.
Best moment: Hamilton suddenly showing up in Verstappen's mirrors at mid-race. Surprised everyone in the dang world.
Worst moment: ...
DRS + tyres + other: DRS was crucial to making this race a race. That takes nothing away from the strategies or drivers' abilities to use it. Verstappen used it to defend. Hamilton got the last word. The tires mattered and teams that understood them best showed the value of that knowledge.

And the race in a sentence: Strategy only matters if executed with precision tactics and skill; Mercedes and Hamilton showed both.

Best driver: Hamilton/Verstappen. In a league of their own. Verstappen has matured nicely in wheel to wheel combat, hard but fair, no silly stuff (despite the predictions of many naysayers).
Worst driver: Bottas/Gasly
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault, considering they're supposed to be a works team. Ferrari not far off.
Best overtake: Hamilton on Bottas. Had to be done asap and got it done asap.
Worst overtake: Leclerc looked a bit sloppy making contact with Bottas, but wasn't investigated otherwise nothing of note.
Best moment: Hamilton/Verstappen battle prior to Hamilton's 2nd stop.
Worst moment: When Mercedes appeared to dirther about Hamilton's first stop.
DRS + tyres + other: All about right

Come on guys, BOT had a bad start, but he wasn't at fault with regards to his front wing damage - that was clearly on LEC. GAS is by far the worst driver.

Respectfully, Bottas shouldn't even have been in a position to have been passed by Leclerc. Therefore, Bottas had a terrible start and first lap, and was not sensational afterwards. Compare Vettel's drive through the crowd to Bottas's. Night and day.

Was terrible after the first lap as well.

Yet another excellent race, on a track where I didn't expect it.

Of course you could also see the issues: Lewis couldn't follow long enough in dirty air despite being faster.

The tyres actually added to the spectacle. Because if Max tyres had simply lasted forever, there wouldn't have been any action whatsoever. The race would have been decided in qualifying already.

Best driver: Hamilton. Magnificent. Runner-up for me is Sainz – yet another impressive finish for McLaren. Russell was also very good.
Worst driver: Kubica. Woeful in the Williams, while Russell impressed. Runner-up goes to Gasly, who is starting to genuinely embarrass himself. Bottas… wasn’t great.
Best team: Mercedes. Executed when it mattered.
Worst team: Renault are starting to look cooked for the year. Remember when people thought they’d be the third-best team this year?
Best overtake: Hamilton on Bottas.
Worst overtake: Hamilton on Verstappen. Underwhelming.
Best moment: That moment you realised Merc’s strategy gamble might actually work.
Worst moment: Ferrari’s entire race. Very much the third-best team and car today – although Renault would probably kill for that.
DRS + tyres + other: DRS wasn’t overly powerful. Tyres worked as intended, good mix between people going longer or shorter on the Mediums, even though Ricciardo’s start on Hards turned out to be a dud.

And the race in a sentence: I’ll do you one better – the race in a word: “Vindication!”

Overall rating: 8/10. Could’ve used a bit more spice at the front of the midfield, but that was made up for by the fight for the race win.

Best driver: Max
Worst driver: Bottas, getting his wing off was bad luck but getting stuck behind an Alfa is just embarrasing. Stroll a close second.
Best team: Ferrari, maximised the result although they were off the pace I guess.
Worst team: Renault
Best overtake: Can't remember one but I guess Vettel on Leclerc if someone put a gun to my head.
Worst overtake: Hamilton on Verstappen. The overtake didn't really do the battle at the front justice.
Best moment: Max freaking out over his tires.
Worst moment: Randomly looking down the order and seeing where Bottas was.
DRS + tyres + other: Well we can be assured that the whining about tire grip while leading a track position race is safe for the next generation as well.

And the race in a sentence: Was an entertaining sunday.

Best driver: Lewis. Honourable mention to Sainz, Kimi, Russel and Max
Worst driver: Gasly
Best team: Mercedes, great strategy call for Lewis, followed by an awesome drive to make it work.
Worst team: Renault
Best overtake: Lewis in T4 on Max almost worked out
Worst overtake: -
Best moment: Max and Lewis hugging after the race, showing each other great respect.
Worst moment: -
DRS + tyres + other: tyres okay for this race, made different strategies work.

Best driver: Hamilton
Worst driver: Gasly
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault need a rethink
Best overtake: Ricciardo on somebody
Worst overtake: Wasn't an ybad ones- maybe Leclerc for his swipe on Bottas
Best moment: The whole Max/ Lewis fight with some good hard clean wheel to wheel action and Hamilton going for it on the hards
Worst moment: Maybe the level of Ferrari's lack of pace
DRS + tyres + other: DRS still required passing on the brakes, and tyres allowed for differing strategies- so both good today

And the race in a sentence: Yet another great Hungarian GP- 8/10

Best driver: Lewis Hamilton
Worst driver: To me no one stands out, so I'll go with Leclerc. Lucky to get away with a massive error in qualifying, lucky to get away with his swerve at Bottas that somehow didn't end up with a penalty, and then loses a podium late on. I can't make my mind up on him at times. So frustrating. No doubt he will still get an 8 on Autosport though.
Best team: Mercedes.
Worst team: Racing Point
Best overtake: Kyvat on Albon was brilliant.
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Bottas
Best moment: Kyvat and Albons 4 turn battle
Worst moment: Leclerc's crash in qualifying.
DRS + tyres + other: Good.

Best driver: Hamilton, followed closely by Verstappen and Sainz.
Worst driver: Between Stroll and Gasly for pure mediocrity.
Best team: Mercedes. Had the fastest car in the race, and made a brilliant strategy call to help Hamilton win the race.
Worst team: Racing Point. 2nd race of their big update and they've gone backwards.
Best overtake: Hamilton round the outside of Bottas on lap 1 was pretty bold but fair from both.
Worst overtake: Leclerc's clumsy move on Bottas just a few metres further up the road.
Best moment: The Toro Rosso battle. Feisty but fair.
Worst moment: Gasly getting lapped by his teammate.
DRS + tyres + other: Everything seemed pretty good. Decent difference in tyre compounds now means all are useful in their own way and make for varied strategies. DRS was a help but not a guarantee of a pass, which is perfect.

And the race in a sentence: A daring duel of the best in F1 right now.

WOT?

Lewis and Max could have gone to the pub for a pint and still finish in front of Ferrari.

I don't like it either but Bottas was behind an Alfa and Gasly behind a Mclaren. As a team effort It was pretty dire. Ferrari were slower but at least they got the most they could with both drivers.

7/10

The battle for the lead was tense throughout the race. Great drive by both Verstappen and Hamilton. Calling Bottas the worst is pretty unfair. I’d say Gasly was the worst.

Sainz is also up there for best drive, he is in great form atm.

Best driver: Hamilton
Worst driver: Bottas or Gasly, make your pick
Best team: Mercedes for their recovery after the Hockenheim mayhem
Worst team: Ferrari, so far off the pace is worrying
Best overtake: Hamilton on Bottas, lap 1
Worst overtake: none that stands out
Best moment: the racing between Hamilton and Verstappen into t4.
Worst moment: Leclerc and Bottas clash in the first round
DRS + tyres + other: shame the race got decided by DRS, I would have loved to see some more close racing between the 2

The race in one sentence: masterclass from both Verstappen and Hamilton

I was torn between a 7 or an 8 so I rounded up and scored it an 8.

Entertaining race especially seeing if Lewis could catch and pass Max. The only comment on the Merc strategy I have is a comment on F1 in general and that is that I don't like the idea of a bunch of nerds on the sidelines  giving feedback and information to the driver, yeah I know it aint gonna change and I have to deal with it. :)

Lots of dicing and overtaking throughout the field added to my enjoyment of this race.

I gave it a 10. Even when top drivers end up with the same equipment it's rare to see them fight it out. It's just as rare to see Redbull outsmarted.

Best driver: Lewis honarable mention for Max
Worst driver: Gasly,... Oké, I accept that t's too much too ask to compete with Max, but c'mon, the Ferrari's were a second a lap slower. This race Pierre should have finished 3rd. This race the miss of a proper wingman costs Verstappen as the second stop for Lewis was possible because Gasly (and the Ferrari's) were nowhere to be seen.
Best team: Mercedes, kudos for a race winning call
Worst team: Renault, 1000hp wasted in a dog of a car ;)
Best overtake: Kvyat on Albon,.... I hope the Haas boys are paying attention
Worst overtake: non
Best moment: The fight midrace between Lewis and Max / The last 20 laps with laptimes on my phone checking/fearing if Lewis was catching Max fast enough
Worst moment: Realizing Lewis was fast enough at the end.
DRS + tyres + other: Great defending by Max using DRS to defend. Different tyres worked great this time making 1 or 2 stops both valid options and giving us a real nailbiter last part of this race.

And the race in a sentence: The 2 masters at the moment duking it out.  Lewis flawless, Max flawless Mercedes great call.

Come on guys, BOT had a bad start, but he wasn't at fault with regards to his front wing damage - that was clearly on LEC. GAS is by far the worst driver.

In that car, even at the Hungaroring, with all race to come through from the back, fifth should be the worst place finish - ahead of all the midfielders and Gasly. That Bottas managed only 8th is a terrible indictment of him.

Worst driver: it's between Bottas (underwhelming for an entire race), Gasly (no words....) and Stroll
Best team: Mercedes, great strategy
Worst team: Renault
Best overtake: Hamilton on Bottas, lap 1
Worst overtake: -
Best moment: Hamilton vs Verstappen dog fight mid race
Worst moment: TV director focusing on midfield battle or the crowd when it's heating up somewhere up front
DRS + tyres + other: not too bad

And the race in a sentence: classic duel between the clear top two guys.

Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Ferrari
Best overtake: Hamilton round the outside of Bottas, watch the replay, from so far back. Yummy
Best moment: Hamilton catching Max and overtaking them. Think a few of my neighbors were probably wondering what the heck was going on.
Worst moment: Worrying if Lewis was going to drop that very breakable trophy.
DRS + tyres + other: Good, wish there were more races where 2 stops were more viable. Honestly we need something to mix up strategies while everyone tries to figure out how to get cars to follow in dirty air.

Best driver:Lewis (reluctantly)
Worst driver: Gasly - so much slower than his team mate
Best team:Mercedes
Worst team:inclined to say Haas. still not on top of their tyre issues.at least they didnt crash again. williams had a much better weekend and hve clearly made a small step back
Best overtake:Kvyatt vs Albon through 4 corners. Exemplary driving from the torpedo and the rookie. Ricciardo round the outside of perez(??!)  in turn 1 an honourable mention
Worst overtake: Seb on Leclerc - seemed like a pretty reckless lunge even if it was clean in the end. very nearly gifted Mclaren their first Podium
Best moment: Ham Vs Ves  (and others) wheel to wheel battles throughout the race
Worst moment: Gasly. haven't even seen much footage but he should be overtaking sainz fairly easily in a redbull he seemed to get near but not really make a chance according to Sainz
DRS + tyres + other: Finally a race where the tyres added to the entertainment and hard driving was possible. I thought DRS was just right here allowing cars alongside but not gifting overtakes too much.

And the race in a sentence: An unexpectedly good race for this circuit with a great defensive drive from Verstappen ultimately surpassed by a great attacking drive and strategy from Hamilton/Merc

9/10 More of this please

Best driver - Hamilton.
Worst driver - Bottas and Gasly were both rancid, so a tie.
Best team - Williams, beating other cars on merit. They’ve come such a long way. If they manage to keep performing like that through other races this season, then that’s a huge achievement given where they started out.
Worst team - Renault. WTF has happened to them? Steady improvement from 2016 to 2018, hire a top driver, and....they’re rubbish. Enstone very, very rarely go backwards year on year, this is a real head scratcher.
Best overtake - Kvyat on Albon. That’s how to do it, take note Haas drivers.
Worst overtake - Hamilton on Verstappen, just for being a total anticlimax.
Best moment - the tension of the final stage of the race.
Worst moment - realising that Max was absolute cannon fodder.
DRS etc - pretty good. Added to the entertainment, and a different tyre strategy winning the race - ace.

The race in a sentence - this season is now redeeming itself every weekend, 8/10

Best driver: Verstappen: did not put a foot wrong all weekend and only lost to Hamilton due to the inspired Mercedes strategy. Hamilton in the fastest car lost the qualifying battle to both Verstappen and Bottas so how can he be the best?
Worst driver: Gasly or Kubica, both utterly destroyed by their teammates

Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault
Best overtake: Kvyat on Albon
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Bottas
Best moment: the fight between Verstappen and Hamilton
Worst moment: no particular moment springs to mind
DRS + tyres + other: ok for once, tyres were one of the reasons for a fascinating race

And the race in a sentence: very good race, shame that the best driver of the weekend was beaten by the strategy of the fastest car. Only two drivers really matter at the moment.

7/10. Was a great fight for the win but apart from that we saw so many trains and processions, its hungary lets not forget... but still a good race for being hungary.

Only got to watch the highlights:

Best driver: Sainz
Worst driver: Gasly

Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault.
Best overtake: Kvyat>Albon
Worst overtake: Hamilton>Verstappen, but only because it ended the drama.
Best moment: Hamilton vs Verstappen wheel to wheel.
Worst moment: Gasly once again being lapped by his teammate. When the only thing an F1 driver can consistently elicit is pity it's time for that driver to go.
DRS + tyres + other: Tyres played a starring role.

And the race in a sentence: Compelling viewing for the most part but the gap between the front two and the rest, wow.

Best driver: Hamiltion
Worst driver: Gasly
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Renault.
Best overtake: Vettel on Leclerc
Best moment: Hamilton vs Verstappen: finally
Worst moment: Bottas his opening lap.
DRS + tyres + other: Race being won by analytics, not drivers.

And the race in a sentence: The grand Lewis and Max show.

Have a great summer!

BEST DRIVER: Hard to choose between Max & Lewis as both were exceptional, but I'll let my bias/fanboyism/whatever-you-wanna-call-it win and go for Verstappen because he got Pole and he lost it due to strategy, not through his own fault;

WORST DRIVER: Gasly

Best team: Mercedes

Worst team: Renault

Best overtake: Kvyat on Albon was sensational!

Worst overtake: WTF is this? Are you guys getting bored? I don't believe in bad overtakes, just as I don't believe in bad sex;

Best moment: Max vs. Lewis

Worst moment: Maybe Vettel's  pistop when they couldn't change the tyre, but then again, I kinda lost hope for Ferrari and I didn't had much expectations anyway, so no particular moment I guess.

I'm undecided between 7/10 & 8/10, but it was a really good race, either way! That\s 4 great races in a row now! What a way to go into the summer break.

Best driver: Lewis
Worst driver: Sadly, Pierre.
Best team: Undoubtedly Mercedes
Worst team: Ferrari. Renault deserve a mention too.
Best overtake: Lewis on Valtteri
Worst overtake: Charles on Valtteri
Best moment: Seb in presser when Lewis was late. Someone said "Where's Lewis." Seb, " He's doing his hair. " And of course the last dozen laps.
Worst moment: Watching the timing screens from lap 54 to 58 barely move in a downward trend.
DRS + tyres + other: Excellent. Made a great race.

And the race in a sentence: Two titans at work. Sublime. I give it a 9.
