Glad you mentioned the extras....they were too good to leave out.

Received mine yesterday and put it straight into the DVD player. Very well done!

Only complaint is that the interviews with Doug Garner was louder than the rest

so you had to turn the volume down every time he appeared.

Yes, apologies for that, I thought I had equalised all the audio, I must have missed Doug's pieces.

Just to let everyone know, when an order is placed it gets processed either the same or at latest the next day. All the best!

Just so you all know, I received my copy in western USA only 1.5 weeks after placing the order with Gary.

Doug had a lot of interesting anecdotes and added interesting snippets of information while telling stories.

Like how fiddly the torsion suspension was to set up, and that carbon-fibre structures can end up being too stiff.

Mentioned as an example how carbon-fibre frames on Moto GP bikes proved to make the bike less rider friendly due to lack of flex.

My favourite is how he says that members from different teams used to be very friendly towards each other, pre-Ron Dennis....

We have a special item in the 'extras' where Team truckie Vic McCarthy explains what happened in both the Lotus truck accidents in 1972, the first of which includes his previously un-seen photos of the scene.
