Yeah, NOTTTTTTTT looking forward to the excruciating off-season at all.  But first things first.  And hoping for an engrossing Silly Season, too   ;)

Wasn't the compressed season originally mooted as a temporary measure when things were getting a bit tight? It seems to have become the norm.

Glad I'll be free to watch live this week, seems like being stuck with watching the so-called highlights comes with a free lemon for all to suck on! (Just kidding).

Bring a top weekend of racing on.

Wow! that first pic.  Don't tell me they pushed the car over with the driver still inside?  Reminds me of Barrichello at Imola.

as for the race, mixed emotions

1: Yay!!! another indycar race

2: ohh no.. only two left.

Yep.

Still not as miraculous as Dixon escaping unscathed, though. :stoned:

well I live in Antwerp

Charleroi is not that interesting (they do have an airport), it never really fully recovered after the mines closed down at the end of the '80s, lots of people with Italian roots living there

the art cities (Gent, Brugge, Antwerpen) are certainly worth a visit for people seeking culture or nightlife (Gent, Antwerp)

The interesting spots in Brussels are very scathered and traffic is terrible (especially on the ring) there

So... when is the start in CET? Don't want to miss it

I adore Antwerp. As for Brussels... I can't say I'd be sad if I never visited again.

Edit: And to answer your question, I *believe* it will start at 9:35pm CEST.

Isn't that the one that either Easyjet or Ryanair claim is Brussels airport?  Despite being 100km away.

This is the weekend for maximum Belgium nonsense.  SPA, SPA, SPA.   You can watch poor little Portland afterwards.

You can watch poor little Portland afterwards.

Well that would make sense, seeing as that's the order the races are in.

Spa?  Yeah, I'll be in the hot tub later, after my daily swim.

Belgium... unless Bertrand Baguette is coming back... no need!

I'm ready for the two final races, just upgrated from 32" to 65" TV.

I hope they go back to their old system next year. Much more user friendly imo, never managed to get fantrax working ok on my phone.

Don't be so F1-normative.  It's more fun to be bi-series or pan-series

For those further west in North America, Portland live, then watch Belgian GP later, since the Belgian GP is run when it is sleeping time in this time zone*

*at least in the days since VCRS, then DVRs came along. Also, the racing was better then  :p

Take THAT all you forumers who aren't retired/semi-retired, have a job outside the traditional Mon-Fri 9-5 that you rely on to eat and have a roof over your head, or who have family or carer responsibilities, or in fact even regular adult responsibilities, or have friends or family to visit before they are all dead, or a world they may wish to go out into and interact with on a Sunday for a change.

You and your weak ass lives. What's wrong with you all?
