No idea if things have changed, but Jacques Villeneuve wouldn't allow his name/image to be used in F197.
Was that something to do with the use of the Villeneuve name in F1 having been copyrighted in relations to Gilles (possibly after his death)?

No idea if things have changed, but Jacques Villeneuve wouldn't allow his name/image to be used in F197.
Jacques had taken out a previous trademark on his name and it affected a few games up until 2000. I think his trademark pre-dated the catch-all FOM deal. By 2000 an agreement had obviously been reached.
