Best driver:  Norris just edges Sharl for me. Giovanazzi until the final lap.... Albon... some good drives out there.
Worst driver: None stand out, as daft as lap 1 turn 1 was.
Best team: Ferrari played it perfectly, they needed to sacrifice Seb unfortunately.
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Albon on Danny Ric, though I loved Stroll on Grosjean.
Worst overtake: Urm. ?

Best driver: Charles, took pole and the win, couldn’t have done it better. Honorable mention to Albon too.
Worst driver: Max, took too much risk in La Source and kept driving on the racing line with a damaged car.
Best team: Ferrari
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Lewis on Seb, not so much to overtake itself, but setting it up in Blanchimont.
Best moment: Charles winning
Worst moment: Max driving on the racing line with a damaged car

Best driver: Albon, managed to get max result at the end, even if that was helped by Max crashing himself and Kimi out at the start and Norris suffering DNF
Worst driver: Max....what the heck was he thinking trying to take such a line into the first corner? He has been in F1 for so many years now and driven at Spa so many times that by now he should know better than try any stupid moves like that in first corner where you are bound to lose with such a move. Couldnt accept his poor start and thus ruined his race (and Kimi's) completely. Furthermore should have not tried to continue like that into Eau Rouge with damaged car, nearly crashed into Giovinazzi when he couldnt turn into the corner.

Best Team: Merc
Worst Team: Haas

Best Overtake: Giovinazzi on Ricciardo

Worst overtake: Max on Kimi
Best moment: last few laps
Worst moment: Obviously yesterday but in this race again Max's stupid move on Kimi that ruined the race for both of them

Overall: Better/more entertaining race than last year atleast. Just really sad what happened yesterday, so that put dark shadow to the whole weekend.

To be fair, it was set up long before Blanchimont.

Probably at Paul Frere, possibly even Stavelot.

But Vettel's grip was gone, so he really didn't have a defence. Earlier in the race Hamilton would be well within DRS range out of Paul Frere, but not by the time of the activation point at the exit of La Source.

Sure, but Albon’s much praised overtake on Ricciardo was also based on a huge tyre advantage. Found Lewis following Seb that close through Blanchimont just spectacular.

Why?

Cars in the midfield were able to follow that closely through Blanchimont, even without a tyre advantage.

The reason why Hamilton couldn't earlier is that with sufficient grip from the previous corner Vettel just plain drove away from Hamilton by Blanchimont.

Sure, but Albon’s much praised overtake on Ricciardo was also based on a huge tyre advantage.

Yes, Albon's pass of Ricciardo was only possible due to a tyre advantage. But it was still a difficult pass - on the outside of a fast corner.

Same with Gio passing Ricciardo. Just a little bit more opportunistic.

Best moment: Charles & Ferrari finally winning!

Worst moment: Verstappen's mistake maybe?

6/10, ok start of the second half of the season. I feel good seeing Ferrari finally win, but somehow, I'm not that crazy about it. Their car is s**t anyways.

Best driver: Anthoine Hubert: we will miss him
                     Lando Norris
Antonio Giovinazzi  (prior to the last lap)
Charles Leclerc: dominated the whole weekend
Worst driver: Max Verstappen
Best team: none stood out
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Albon on Riccardo
Worst overtake:Max on Kimi
Best moment: Leclerc winning
Worst moment: Verstappen at the start
DRS + tyres: not enough tyre deg, DRS should not be used at Spa: enough overtaking possibilities, DRS is artificial racing anyhow: never been a fan of it and it's a huge advantage for drivers with quicker top cars, with a slower car you can't possibly defend against it, DRS will always be more favourable for the top teams

The heck?? Do you even understand how badly Kimi's car was damaged at the start? Or do you simply blame him of the crash with Verstappen? Ah I see you are Verstappen fan so ofc you do.

Charles Leclerc winning was almost a feelgood result in the circumstances, but I’m not sure you can ever genuinely call something feelgood when it’s coming out of something so horrible. That F2 crash was a disaster, a plane crash comparable only to Dan Wheldon in Indycar. Still can’t believe it happened tbh. So the weekend ending on the note of Leclerc’s victory was only good in the context of what came before it.

Leclerc, Albon, Norris and Giovinazzi were all excellent, Max was the worst for his dumb decision to keep a clearly broken car flat out on the racing line and looking surprised when it went straight on into the barriers. Best move was Albon on Perez, two wheels on the grass.

I scored it a 7 and while I enjoyed it perhaps I expected a little more from Spa? There was some good racing in the mid field amd perhaps MV's early exit could have spiced things up at the front? I did appreciate the technical/strategic aspect of this race and even I am starting to wonder what has happen to SV. Of course congratulations to CL for his first win and an encouraging first race for AA with his new team.

A bit dull at the front.  Some good action though.

Best driver: Leclerc
Worst driver: Can't think of any particularly awful performances.  Grosjean it is then.
Best team: Merc I suppose.
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Albon > Ricciardo
Worst overtake: I have no idea.
Best moment: Leclerc winning one
Worst moment: Giovinazzi or Norris.
DRS + tyres + other: Meh.

And the race in a sentence: Have to say I thought it was all rather dull after being spoiled before the break.

Best driver: Leclerc
Worst driver: Grosjean. Dropped like a stone after a good first stint.
Best team: Ferrari
Worst team: Haas
Worst moment: All the missed overtakes by the director, the crash from Gio we missed, the DNF from Norris was AWOL as well, etc. On LT you see the gas <0,5s yet we are watching: Wolff staring at a screen, Norris in the middle of nowhere, Lewis still 5s behind Leclerc. And then suddenly replays of missed overtakes. And at a moment 5-6x the same overtake while others were missed again.
DRS + tyres + other: DRS has no place here, tires okayish.

Best team: Mercedes

Worst driver: Grosjean (what a limp attitude)
Worst team: Haas

Best overtake: Albon on Ricciardo
Best moment: Leclerc finally winning
Worst moment: Lando's car stopping

Overall: Mildly entertaining, would have been interesting to see it play out with Verstappen in the game. 7/10.
