I saw a couple of Trabbies racing at Brands Hatch earlier this year. Whilst not exactly 'quick' (in the context of mixed much-modified-saloons-and-sports-car race) they were not embarrassingly slow either. I didn't have an opportunity to see what modifications they may have had.
That looks like quite a party, Jerry; with the biggest barbecue I've ever seen.

I love the Plymouth Superbird...
(Thinking of another recent thread, it's interesting to note that the Plymouth is both shorter and narrower - and has a considerably shorter wheelbase - than the current Mercedes F1 car!)

I've always assumed those two were more-or-less "badge engineering" versions of the same car... or am I doing them a disservice?
(The Dodge and the Plymouth, I mean - not the Merc F1! Either way, none of those three would fit in my garage.)

I wish that the Domino's car in post #20 was mine-- it actually is Cory Hoonhout's 86 Lola. They look similar with the same livery, but I suggested to Cory that he bring it over to show it off after his great restoration. He used to work for Doug at Doug Shierson Racing. I saw Jerry E but didn't have a chance to talk other than in passing so I couldn't give him info on the car.
