Does anyone have any biographical or career details on Keith D. Jupp, manager of the P&M Preparations operation?

Even a home town would be helpful.  I know he raced a Ginetta G12 in 1967, then the F3 Shannon, then a couple of F3 Brabhams up to 1970.

Anyone know where he went next, or how I might contact him?

Peter Morley owned the Shannon for several years. I wonder if he might know?

He appears to have died in 2003, Allen. Full name was Keith Derrington Jupp.

I've found a birth record in Cambridge, August 3rd 1945, marriage in Chelsea 1978, died Kingston, November 2003. Last address I can find is on the 2003-4 electoral roll. His widow - if still alive - would now be 69 (born July 1950). She's on the same electoral roll - and it seems they had at least one child, who is also on that electoral roll. Looks like they may have gone off the public roll after that as Ancestry has them up to 2010.

PM me if you want more details - I wouldn't want to put the address out publicly.

"Keith lives at Hasker Street

Chelsea and works with cars

as manager of Paul Vincent's

P. and M. Motors.

The firm operate from the

Arches, near Chiswick Park

tube station, and they build

engines, tune and prepare

cars. Keith, single, has been

racing for a couple of years

after catching the speed bug

with an M.G. Midget he used

to have."

Kensington Post, Friday 1 August 1969

He was driving a Brabham BT28 in F3 that year.

Apparently Jim Harding, from Melbourne, was another P&M Brabham driver.

Paul Vincent said by Jupp to have been Jack Brabham's personal mechanic. Aston Martin previous.

Thanks guys, this is great stuff.

Using Vitesse2's lead, I picked up his widow's name and searched for that, but didn't find anyone the right age.

Allen, have you seen this P & M thread in the archive? Some key figures are no longer with us but there may be some useful contacts.

Is he, Keith Jupp, family of talented British karting driver Connor Jup by any chance? I know he's not his dad since Connor's dad is named Anthony but it might be an uncle.
