This is extremely sad news. I didn't know Jody's daughter had died, how absolutely awful :(

I am posting this because of the slim chance the motorsport fraternity can help him track down a high quality print of the last time his family were together. I hope it can be passed on to anyone who knows professional photographers who may have been at Monza on the Sunday of the Italian GP 2019.

An appeal to the #F1 community - as you may know we tragically lost my daughter Ila last month. The Italian GP in Monza was the last time we were all together as a family - but we don’t have a high quality copy of this photo. Please can you RT and let us know if you took one? @F1

This copy we have was taken on a phone and not good enough quality to print and frame. Please - if you know of any photographers who were there can you reach out and see if we can get us a copy of the photo in full quality? Thank you all, Scheckter Family.

What very sad news, which I wasn’t aware of until now. Sincere condolences to Jody and his family. I do hope their quest for a photo is successful.

It is. He does seem to be making some progress with things, looks like Darren Heath was there taking pictures. Sadly, his pictures (wonderful though they are) are unlikely to have yielded the traditional portrait Jody's looking for, but hopefully he can maybe help with who the others were.

His twitter account is here for those who want to respond directly:

Have spoken to @F1Photographer who didn’t have the photo but has been very helpful. The one in the middle has been indentified and emailed, is an Italian photographer. Anyone recognise the person on the right? Many thanks!

I'm surprised the phone photograph isn't good enough. The lighting was almost perfect. Of course the twitter compression, etc, is never going to be good enough, but the original JPEG ?

Good luck to Jody.

Is this something that could be brought up to snuff in Photoshop?

Given that the Scheckter family has set up a JustGiving page for charity in Ila's memory it seems a startling failure of journalism for the motorsport media not to cover it...

They may have felt it was a private matter, I don't know. There was a comment from her brother on twitter that they were a bit upset at seeing the story of her death in the Mail but recognising it did give them the chance to make a statement to people about her memory.

I think once it becomes a JustGiving campaign it is in the public eye and worth a mention if only to link to it.  Poor girl had issues stemming from surgery that seems to have had unfortunate side-effects.

Likely, No. there is no replacement for enough pixels.

Very sad news.  I can't help with the photographers, unfortunately, but I'd imagine nowadays it won't be difficult to track down the remaining two that are so far unidentified.

I imagine the Scheckters are in touch with whomever issued the media credentials to the shooters...

Or maybe this:

Does the name Mariano Froldi mean anything? He seems to be associated with Ferrari.

Condolences to Jody and family.

With so many photographers at that lovely Monza event they should surely succeed in finding what they are looking for. I hope so anyway.
