Normally this time of the year is my favourite by far, planning christmas, buying presents for my wife and family etc.  I love it so much, then decorating etc.

Sadly this year is different, no decorations up right now as I simply don't have the energy as I'm very ill and can barely even keep my eyes open for minutes, let alone the hours it takes to decorate etc.   Currently awaiting several blood tests from the hospital but as much as I adore xmas, right now its just not on for us and I feel even worse for falling ill at this time of the year, feels like I've let down my wife.  So yeah. not in a good way right now.

Sorry to hear that you are ill, wishing all the best for your recovery.

I just added learning French, downloaded 3 months of Rosetta Stone.

Enjoy it! I like it but due to a hard disk change lost all my status records  :well:

Try to read some French stuff as well; I have subscribed to Rétroviseur which couples both training my French language and providing good stories (with excellent photography) about classic cars!

I am awfully sad to hear about that, crossing my fingers and wishing you well!

Do not feel that you are letting someone down; you have to take care of yourself as well; you can only take care of others if you are OK.

I'm nearly three years on from a serious illness myself - I wish you well regarding your tests and a return to full fitness. Surely your wife understands, don't let that thought live in your head mate.

Almost finished watching all the series & endurance races i have been following this year IMSA, Blancpain  & WEC. Got 3 hours of the Kyalami 9 hour to go and i am done for 2019 with all of those series and races including Dubai 24 hours.

Debating whether or not to bother watching this season of WEC
