Would anyone know which driver holds the record for the most relief drives in NASCAR history?

Dan,

I meant across a whole career, just not in one race.

It might be worth asking our friends over on https://www.trackfor...104-s-nostalgia - although focussed (they would write focused) on Indianapolis, they also know a bit about taxicab racing.

Hello Graham ,

Over at Reddit  someone asked this question   , and a list was posted  that showed relief drivers in  many races   with winning performances highlighted.

It appears Richard Petty  is only driver with more than one relief drive that resulted in a win .He had 2.

  The  2 races were:

Charlotte 1966 relief for Marvin Panch

Bristol    1970    relief for David Pearson

However it didnt say which of the races  at those tracks in those years  they were , but racing reference should be an ez solution to find out that info.
