After a wonderful race last year, I'd also enjoyed this one. Great to see Kamui go.

Congrats to Wayne Taylor for winning both the shortest and longest Rolex 24.
Pays to be flexible.
Well done.

Still having trouble believing that the oh-so-often-grenading-itself Mazda survived a record distance race in 2nd place overall.

There can't be too many (any?) people who have a 100% win rate at Daytona in multiple years?

I doubt that to happen quickly, the Caddy isn't welcome at Le Mans yet.

It was a remarkable race. Consistently exciting.
More often than not the leads for GTLM and GTD were being battled for laps on end.

The 19 team are investigating, but the car is so badly burnt up, they can't find the source (according to Brian Till).
Hi everyone! We enjoyed the enthusiasm for our No 19 car so much we felt compelled to create an account here. We believe we have found the source of the fire. If accurate, it is completely separate from the earlier issue that brought us into the garage. After identifying the hot spot of the fire, reviewing video footage, and the pattern of the burn, we believe a quick-connector used to drain the fuel tank in the garage may have failed. As the fuel burned so quickly and did not have enough saturation time to ignite other components, minimal damage was actually done to the car. It's primarily surface damage and some minor electrical. The car will be ready for our scheduled testing in a few weeks. See you all at Sebring!

Thanks very much for engaging with us die hard IMSA fans here in Autosport Forums. We sure appreciate the info on the issues the car had and the resulting drama that transpired.
Unfortunately I have no idea who that 19fan is in the picture
I stole it from Twitter while scanning the #Daytona24.
Wish I’d paid more attention to who it was.
Thanks again and PLEASE say hi to the girls for us.

May have to get to the race earlier next year, folks. TV ratings weren't bad either.*
