F1 Pre-Season Testing

 

Week 1 : 19 - 20 en 21 februari 2020.
Week 2 : 26 - 27 en 28 februari 2020.

The pre-season test days are slightly different this year. In the previous years, 8 days were tested in two weeks (2x4).
This year that has changed to 6 days (2x3). The test days can also be followed live again this year.
You can follow this for example via F1 TV Pro.

The circuit that is being driven is like in previous years in Barcelona:

I'm calling it now: Ferrari are on fumes and Mercedes are sandbagging and using a barebones car until the last day. There is no way they'll fool me yet again and I don't care if the entire media says it's Ferrari's year. They'll need to be 2 seconds clear every session to convince me.

Mercedes' sandbagging will go this far that they will throw the first three races too, then under the disguise of the probably then 4 weeks break thanks to the coronavirus they will make a "miraculous" comeback in Zandvoort and eventually win the title yet again

In all seriousness, this was the case with Prost GP when they were in dire need of sponsorship. They just did glory runs to lure sponsors. And if I'm not mistaken, they were the last to do so this obviously.

Only pre season testing worth follwing are the new regs pre season testing i.e  2021. The new cars, breakdowns, hype etc much more fun than many races.

In all seriousness, this was the case with Prost GP when they were in dire need of sponsorship. They just did glory runs to lure sponsors. And if I'm not mistaken, they were the last to do so this obviously.
