Introduction
The racing pre-season is a time of anxious anticipation, excitement of seeing new cars and liveries, and (often quite hysterical) trying to decipher the testing results. In 2012, another part of the tradition was born when this little competition has started and since then it became an integral part of this magical time of the year on our forum. It's a place for the fans to try and show that they can do better than those real life modern liveries often dismissed as "boring", or let loose and produce something devilishly satirical - the possibilities are endless and we've seen some very creative entries over the years. The winner earns such priceless awards as immense satisfaction, sense of achievement, bragging rights, the responsibility honour of hosting the next year's competition (at least in theory ), and being remembered forever as part of our...

Template
For the first time ever, our contest will use two templates representing both F1 and IndyCar. The choice is yours.
The F1 template was originally made by BWT and updated to current spec by TheGoldenStoffel. It's available in JPG and PNG format. There's also a huge version of the PNG file - dimensions 26000 x 7000 px. Not sure if anyone will need it but just in case, you can download it here
The IndyCar template was created by Brandz07. Unfortunately it's only available as a PNG file because of the shading.
You are of course free to use any kind of software and technique in your creation process. And as always, the use of advanced lighting and shading is mostly discouraged - the ideas should be more important than pro-level execution, let's keep it relatively simple. But it's more of a suggestion than a strict rule.
For uploading your results I personally recommend https://postimages.org/ as it's simple and has a good record of long-term file storage but obviously anything will do.
Rules
- Only images created using templates provided above will be entered in the voting process.
- Please don't modify the template. An exception can be made for things like changing the colour of the rims or tyre markings.
- Don't copy already existing designs. Of course the line between copying and adapting can be thin but do try to make it your own design as much as possible.
- In the end, any disputable cases will be judged by the forum moderators.
