Gazetta's claim about Ferrari using a Mercedes-style nose turns out to be wrong for the 6th year in a row...

What's the point of these retro numbers if they don't go with the rest of the livery at all, should've gone for more black.

Looks the same as last year but with tighter sidepods and engine cover I think.

How can ferrari have been always part of F1 and will achieve their 1000 race while F1 1000 race was last year in China?

I think it comes down to world championship races versus races run to F1 rules. The former includes some races run under different regulations eg. Indy 500.

The car has last year's front end.

They won't be showing all the tricks already.

They copied RB's sidepods/crash structure.

Subtle difference to both the car and the livery. Nothing radical from what I can tell. Make sense given that they have the fastest car for most of the year last season.

Cars looks like an (small) evolution. Wonder if it solves their tire problems.

Don't really get the people saying that it's the same as last year... the differences are huge and quite telling by just having a glance on it.

The car looks radically different compared to last year in many areas, but just to name a few... side-pods, barge-boards, more extreme rake... I haven't seen a good picture of the suspension yet but it's clear (to my eyes) that the aero concept has been taken to another level compared to last year.

This is pretty much the solution RB has been using these past couple of years. Although Ferrari has done an amazing job to package it all together so tightly at the back.

It is way too early for this kind of posts. You should re-post it around August-September when Ferrari will win races despite being 200 points behind.

Anyone got direct comparisons to show the differences between the two cars? To help those visualise the differences?

Front suspension is definitely new.

Bargeboard area looks radically overhauled.

Sidepods are probably the most drastic change.  It's far more Red Bull-esque now, tapering down and out rather than being bulbous with a sort of 'cliff' on the sides.

No idea how it's gonna go, but it's impressive and actually a much bigger change than I was expecting.

Mercedes only launched the livery, not the car

But thats my point, they could had launched the livery with the car as every team does but they decided to split and get that monday spot ahead of Ferrari. Good for their new sponsors ineos though.

Looking nice and slim at the rear and that barge board area looks, well, complex.not a clue how thus will translate into lap time but fair to say I am excited to see it hit the track!

Ineos was the only reason for that event, but I guess you have to when they pump 100M in 5 years in your team...

Incredible with their powerfull pu, that they can make rebullesque sidepods without increasing the airbox inlet even shortening it by the looks, frontsuspension completely reworked with agressive pou, baregeboard is just merc level crazy, let this work please so merc dont walk away with it

How can ferrari have been always part of F1 and will achieve their 1000 race while F1 1000 race was last year in China?

They missed like half of the races in 1973 to prepare the B3 and also they raced a couple of times in 1964 under the NART banner.

Also, i imagine that the 1000 Formula 1 races include Indy 500 until 1959, which were part of the F1 World Championship.

All in all, they must have missed like 15-20 races, which explains the difference.

I'm quite impressed with the detailing around the bargeboards and the side pods have been tightened and modelled on the Red Bull over-cut concept.  A pleasant surprise given that I didn't even know the car was being unveiled today :) .

I like the darker red. Reminds of the darker red Ferrari F2007 they used after Spain that year. Car looks fast though!

Why did they even simplify the front wings when the air is just going to hit all this baggage anyway. The nose cone looks like Lego compared to this

I think the sidepod inlets are bigger, and the sidepods seem a little wider than last year, at least at the front(when viewed from the front).  So it does seem to have come with some compromises.  But I'd rather see them take a different, new approach rather than continue with what they were doing before, which was just never quite good enough.
