Pleasant and classy.
Can't speak for all of the tifosi and Ferrari fans out there, but we're welcoming him with open arms.

Those first pics after team changes are always so weird. But Carlos looks good in red

Well, at least something went right for the Scuderia this year:

Is that Harry Potter in the middle? It can't be a Ferrari person as he isn't wearing any team apparel. Or is that a hint that he is on the way out??

Flogging off the family jewels? When it is other teams doing this, there is consternation and talk of financial meltdown etc etc. but when Ferrari do it, it is seen as positive?

Yeah, he didn't have the same car in 2014 too. And somehow Ferrari forgot to slow down his car in Hungary and Turkey.
Very likely, the journo pushed him in that direction. Presuming the quotes are even true to the word and correctly translated.
OTOH it must be very hard for a competitive guy to resist the temptation of attributing an underperformance at least partly to circumstances out of his control.

Think you are reading too much into. The question was stupid. Vettel is not a mechanic or engineer and therefor he is not the right person to ask. He's not in any position to say the cars were the same. He has not built the cars or driven Charles Chassis. As he pointed out, he "assumes" they are.
and they probably are the same car. But we (the journalist) are asking the wrong people, looking for a juicy headline.

I am so happy to see new blood in Ferrari. It just felt like "complete" with Vettel and Ferrari. No championship, but still a good overall. Maybe the pressure got to him? But still. better than Kimi every year. Ok, he was not at his prime, but I am not sure if Seb was either. And lets remember Kimi had pretty good 16 and 18. Otherwise Seb had him quite easily covered.
Just hope that Carlos and Charles get atleast somewhat competitive car next season.

Seb says nothing wrong there at all.

I think if Ferrari is not fighting for championship from the get go in 2022, Binotto is out.
I am astonished that he is still there now, let alone surviving to 2022.

Found this article today while searching for Carlos past performance. I really hope for him that Ferrari will fix the rear end issues with the SF 21 because if that isn't the car is gonna be really rought for him. The SF 1000 had huge balance issues and a very unstable rear end.

More or less many of the topics that have already been discussed: https://www.autospor...ine-for-f1-2021
Encouraging to hear. New cooling system (less drag), better coke bottle, new gearbox, new cylinder heads, more thermal efficiency, more ERS efficiency, smaller turbines, etc.

Which is acceptable considering the focus is on '22. I don't believe they will challenge Mercedes (unless Mercedes lose the plot entirely) but I think anything else is fair game.
