This year's Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in northeastern Florida, held this past weekend, honored the achievements of Roger Penske.  I've posted a number of photos in Racing Comments, but realize some participants here do not necessarily venture there.  Enjoy.

It's a Corporate Award--likely for best Ford-powered competition car.  There are a series of awards presented that I don't pay much attention to.

The Aerovette was always the dream car of my youth.

When the blue one appeared (Astro? Astro II?) I thought it was about the closest thing to a Chaparral 2D that would ever be street-legal.  Assuming the bow-tie people would build them. At age 14, my thought was "Why wouldn't they?"
