In a subtropical mood? There are always Miami Vice reruns.

I joined late.
I miss the sound of Paul Page, great commentator. He sounds like Kermit's dad doesn't he?

Variable pronunciations of a fairly straightforwardly named scion of a beloved racing family, which should have been familiar to all, will take you far.

When I worked for Edelman PR his press liaison would always take any interviewer or journo aside and run them through the phonetics of how to say his name properly.

This was lots of fun. We’ll definitely have to do it again before May.

As a favor to all my internet friends and acquaintances, my new policy on IndyCar threads is as follows:
1. See thread.
2. Rate it 5 stars.
3. Not worry about accidentally hitting the rating button while I'm aiming for a return to Racing Comments on my phone.
Extreme? Perhaps. But we can bask in the knowledge that if a discussion thread is downgraded, it probably is PT.

Why can’t you just watch it on youtube?I went to watch my recording this morning. Someone's taped an episode of bloody Coronation Street over the last 20 laps!
(Glad you all had fun! Will join in next time.)

Belated thanks, Risil! A race worth watching, and a great win by Vile Nerve.
Loved watching marshals throwing aside tyres to see if anyone's under them; and gesticulating helplessly through the wire fence at a stranded driver.

I've not been to Miami (I've played GTA: Vice City a lot though) but I think Bicentennial Park is only a few blocks north of Bayfront Park, which is also where F1 is trying to hold a Grand Prix. Tamiami is a suburb at the edge of the city.
This is the circuit that IMSA GTPs used from the mid 80s to the early 90s. It's a bit of an oddball in Indycar history because racing in Miami switched to the Homestead oval the next year.
There wasno GTA back in 1995 Lets keep things on topic :-)

From memory (and without spoilers!) there's only one snorer in the whole 1995 season. And two all-time classics.Belated thanks, Risil! A race worth watching, and a great win by Vile Nerve.
