Round 3 of the 2020 Quarantine Quiz - here to bust some of your boredom

The previous quiz was won by ‘NullException’ - who can take the fight to him this time around?

The quiz will be open until 8am on Saturday (UK time), after which I will post the full scores along with the questions with the highest right & wrong answer percentages.

I will continue to make further quizzes if there is continued interest to help pass a few minutes of your day.

  sorry, My game cut out after the 6th question the original run , would not let me continue original run. I got a few wrong later one and got 19k points that will be nowhere near winning if does then DQ me.

Haha it's ok, just figuring out why everyone else is so much better at this than I am! I reckon there were quite some double doers around in the previous round as well so I figured I'd pay attention to that now and you instantly caught mine 

 

These quizzes from FirstnameLastname are really nice and personally I think it would be a waste if they got ruined by people cheating. But if your game cuts out then well yeah what can you do.

 

Was tougher than Round 2, this one, I found. Score of 10800 feels pretty dismal.

16k with some change, better than last time around - I'll take it. With some answers I'm really not sure if it was down to luck or some semi-subconscious knowledge from deep recesses of my mind...

Gone to the top of the table with 20563. Got more wrong than last time so can't imagine I'd stay there.

 

Some very difficult and obscure ones there, like telling apart relatives from a close up of their eyes or remembering a particular engine designation (got both of them wrong), though I was amused at one "multiple choice" question where every possible answer was correct.

 

Good fun though!

I did terrible, just missed the 10k points mark. I suck at quizes that require quick answers, I messed up several ones that I knew just because I was too quick to pick, I need my time to think lol

Much better than the 2nd round where I ended at P163, hope to finish top 100 this time    More questions from the era I watched and I felt less questions about "what year", I really suck at those. Had a nice streak till half way, than it went south starting with the question on Alfa Romeo. But great fun to do again FirstnameLastName

Yeah, was trying to think of different type/style of questions so it doesn’t get too boring... the ‘eyes’ one is a throwback to something from an old F1 magazine I remember where it was a similar task to ‘recognise the driver from their eyes’ with Damon Hill being the most obvious.

Popped into 28th place. A shocking effort. Got a couple of daft ones wrong but overall there was much more stuff I didn't know than last time. Really enjoyed playing though

Got lucky when pressing too quickly when the engine question came. Luckily it was the right answer, else I would not have known it. Also guessed the amount of fastest lap setters.

Getting the 2008 car picture question wrong was the worst, God, I could tell you what year that car was and what it was called, and what it’s best result was...yet I thought it was something else.

I did indeed knew the other 19 answers. But my last score on round 2 wasn't as good as I didn't know all the answers then. So it was just a matter of a lucky strike this time.

I know exactly the error you made there because I did the same.

 

I also know who got Minardi's best result, but contrived to select the wrong position in spite of this.

To be fair, there are some very good players here. I'm quite pleased with my current position this time given the level of competition - and I'm below 50th.
