Dear TNF members who share my enthusiasm for Italian motor sports literature.

Sad news - two days ago Giorgio Nada (77) has died.

The archetype Italian padrone who kept his business running:

"Libreria dell`Automobile" shop in Milano and "Giorgio Nada Editore" publishing company.

Hopefully his two sons Sergio and Stefano will continue to offer and to publish interesting books for the aficionados.

Sincere condolences to the family. AH

Oh, that's sad news.   So many interesting publications.  The motor racing world needs its quixotic publishers.

A very sad loss.  Indeed.

Is this the same Giorgio Nada who created the Linea Sport racewear brand? If so, I had many dealings with him in the seventies when I worked for the UK importer, Gordon Spice. He was a pleasure to work with and always exuded style and charm in a uniquely Italian way.

To me Giorgio was the quintessential svelte Milanese. Much missed!
