Looking at the forecast, the chance of rain has lessened since the red flag.

DW's vortex is working!. :)

I was so rooting for Jimmie to win, but P2 ain't bad. At least he didn't ROVAL himself to a worse finish.

Oh my.

A good-ol' fashon DSQ in the world of NASCAR is rare enough, but a 7-time champion Getting It is unheard of...

Maybe it's a good thing Jimmie didn't win. Being the first Cup winner to be DQed under this new ruleset would have been an ignominious distinction.

what's the difference with Hamlin DSQ last year?

Hamlin was DQed for an Xfinity win. So far no Cup winner has been DQed since the implementation of these rules in 2019.

Yup. Race looks like it's gonna start in 5-10 mins. From 7 to 9 PM the precip % is just under 50, once 10 PM hits, it's over 50. Let's hope we get the full thing in.

At 208 laps it's roughly half the distance of the 600 miler. Stage 1 finally winding down after delay. Inverted starts are fine for exhibition, superspeedway, and possibly full length races, but not sure if it's a great idea when short stages and points are involved.

Kyle Busch is driving an anti-tire weapon right now. I love weird moments like that.

Chase finally won (still gotta pass tech). Bubba was having a decent night, running in the top 10-15 for much of the night, but he had a mechanical failure late, which was really disappointing.

Looks like Busch got a competition (Elliott). And Reddick will be next big thing.

I enjoyed the race because there were a lot of names you don't normally see in the top-5, 10, 15, high in the running order. Bubba and Nemechek were battling for 9th at one point. Last year, a battle between the 38 and the 43 would have been for 25th, 2 laps down. Nemechek is getting so much more out of the 38 than his predecessor. The RCR cars had a good day, somehow Stenhouse didn't wreck himself and brought home a 4th place finish (he looked loose the whole race, every time he got near one of my favorites, I got nervous).
