Fabi back in! Forsythe engineers go straight for the engine cover! Race over. Back to Gil.

"Nobody ever refuses good luck", quoth Paul Page.

George Wensel obit here, if you're interested. Apparently he drowned after saving his two sons from the same fate. :(

Did De Ferran run into Pruett while doing his Hakkinen/Zonta/Schumacher act on Michael Andretti?

I feel so good for Bryan Herta that for once some wheel-to-wheel racing didn't end up with him in the wall.

"They both screwed up and slowed down and I just went for the hole", says Jacques on his double Andretti/Herta overtake.

"It was an exercise of nothing so I decided to park it"

Paul Tracy channels George Costanza while justifying his latest DNF.

ImImagine George as Paul in a biopic!

Both well used to dealing with Mr. Penske and his files.

Oh so happy now that I managed to keep myself in the dark about the end result. Had already seen the race like 5 years ago - but had blissfully forgotten all about who actually had won it so the suspense was successfully killing me again throughout the race.

I will not mention the current driver with initials SF as a spiritual successor to the Gordon incident.

He was out early enough that he could've watched it live!
