Sad news- been driving a Porsche for almost 50 years (my 914 will be 50 in September and I'm the original owner) and can't imagine what Porsche would be like if he had taken another job in 1956!
Took my '72 targa out this AM for a cruise in his honor.
What a career... RIP

What extraordinary engineering achievements he and the team(s) he led achieved.
His engineering legacy will be around for a long time as he rests in peace.
Regards Mike

Sad news. When I was studying in Munich he came as guest speaker shortly after Niki Laudas Championship win with his TAG engine. A very interesting lecture !!
