Does anyone have any knowledge on Bug Dicing?

This seems to have been a Maidstone and Mid Kent Motor Club initiative established in the late 1930s to race 'Austin Sevens costing less than £5'.

Hmmm - faint bells ringing.  'Doodle Bug Racing' was a 1930s description used for such events as those on the cinder tracks at Greenford Speedway, Hackney Wick Stadium, Wembley, Belle Vie etc.  But we are not talking 4WD Skirrows here...  Intriguing.

So far I have been able to establish the first event was on 28th August 1938, held at Hukins Farm, Biddenden.
