NLS 2020. June 27 start of the first stage of the NLS ( VLN ) Nürburgring.

140 cars at the start. There are 20 cars in the GT3 class. Yes. Unfortunately without spectators. Everything is very strict. A limited number of journalists, a limited number of guests in teams. Strict rules for maintaining social distance.

Many pilots could not come because of the closed borders and quarantine.

Yes. There are two streams. German and English. German starts at 8 a.m. English at 11 a.m.

In German Stream in the morning you can also see the qualifications.

The pit stop procedures were quite... something to behold.

Essentially, a 'paddock' stop.

Great to see cars on track, and at the North Loop, no less.

Btw, how long does it take any of you to figure out whereabouts on the track they are, purely from the TV pictures?

There is an App. A tracker is in each car and you can look at the location of the car on the track from the phone or tablet.

Many teams have their own trackers and GPS.  Spectators, commentators and journalists use the regular APP.
