10/10 Charles. I await the same abuse from the usual suspects had that been the other way around.

Looks like certain Ferrari employees can WALK back to Maranello
They might be too occupied with partying in Monaco.

Time for a serious bollocking from the team, first the escapade to Monaco, then the grid penalty, now this needless lunge.

Why are we now splitting obvious incidents like Leclerc's penalty and this incident?

Surely he has to pick up some points on his license for this.

Leclerc's error. But it will be interesting to see how Ferrari play it. Both drivers make too many errors.
As a team manager you would be wondering if it are the drivers or if it is the team.

The stewards are ridiculous.
This is one of those rare cases where there cant be two opinions about it. Leclerc deserved a penalty, if not for this race, then the next, and if not that at least penalty points.
And then you have them punishing minor 50/50 incidents on other occasions. What a joke

Why are we now splitting obvious incidents like Leclerc's penalty and this incident?
Because it tends to generate further consequences and discussion, there’s a thread for the clash here.As ever, please do start your own threads for separate incidents.

It makes it clear they judge it almost entirely on outcome, not offending behaviour.

This was a horrible lunge from Leclerc.

A point raised from my living room notes how the stewards tend to make more allowances on lap one, which is fair.

Fair enough, though I dunno if even the more ardent Leclerc fans can create debate out of this one.

Seb sounds so exasperated in the interview. Complete idgaf mode. No emotion. It’s sad.
He does sound like he's in "eh, who cares, this season is a write-off anyway" mood.

Binotto must go, he doesn´t have control on anything atm.

Look, Binotto might have lost control of the team, but it's hardly his fault if Leclerc decides to take a lunge on lap 1 against his teammate.

I don’t see much to suggest he actively should stay, but I am not sure it would help.

I think the discussion shouldn't be about who is to blame, but why the FIA didn't penalize LeClerc.
Its first lap incident...

He's young. All young drivers make mistakes. Even the greats.
His apology on Twitter is refreshingly honest: https://twitter.com/...311345443143681

You ****ed up Charles. Seb an innocent party - a shame for him.

Leclerc really isn't coming across as a team player at all.

Does matter as far as the race as they were only ever going to get 8-10... but man alive in a shorten tight season, losing all that data logging is insane... he knew how important it was to run a. Full race and to that...
Nonsense. Sure he’s young but for where they are and what they need... makes zero sense. All ego. He will never pull the team forward...
