I seem to remember seeing a photo of Eric with his just acquired single seat Riley racing car, taken shortly before he died attempting the motorcycle speed record.
But I cannot find it!
Does anyone know a source of this image please?

There is a photo of Eric Fernihough sitting on the front wheel of the Riley on page 36 of Charles Mortimer's "With Hindsight".
