Well I for one hope that the news gives Alex some breathing space and allows him to regain his confidence out of the spotlight.

He can use his time as test driver to work on what didn't work with his driving and the car, hopefully he will get another chance in the future. Gasly proved there can be success after RB.

I'm sad it had to end like this. Red Bull could have made this decision months ago and given Albon a respectable send-off, with the opportunity for him to find a decent drive in another top series. The right decision has been made, yes, but once again Red Bull have made it in a cruel and unnecessary manner.

Again, what is to do with albon and the best car being a champ.m and other threads.

Why don’t many on this thread just start a freaking Max thread and his chances of becoming a world champ. Can we just not focus on Albon as sad as a case of his driving was in the 2020 season and why he should or should not stay and who should replace him.

Sorry (it's too easy to get swept into the conversation)
