Does anybody have access to the individual driver race laps for 1978 to 1981 Canadian Grand Prix's ?

 

If not  for all drivers, the times for winner and any other driver completing same number of laps as the winner.

 

From 1982 when the computerised timing system (originally  by Olivetti-Longines) it has been possible to obtain individual driver race laps for a Grand Prix (albeit with difficulty for the 1982 to 1990 years)

Is this question asking for every race lap individual times or just fastest normal lap time of every driver for their respective races?

 

And just for the race of 1978 and 1981 or every race between those years, including 1979 Canadian Grand Prix and 1980 Canadian Grand Prix?

Request is for every race individual lap for at least a few drivers who finished on the same lap as winner.

Also it is for all years 1978 to 1981 (especially 1980 & 1981)

Autocourse Annuals did give the lap times for each driver for each lap, I only have the '66-'67 issue, I'm not sure for how long they continued that practice after that ?

Yes, that is what I am after (like the Olivetti-Longines yearbooks)

Autocourse stopped giving individual lap times with the 1972/73 edition, so there's a gaping hole in my data, too. Coincidentally, having spent the last two or three months consolidating what I have on individual lap time data, I was going to enquire here about the years 1972 to '81, and will probably do so in a seperate thread very soon. So, if somebody has anything like that on offer, I'd be VERY interested, too!!

The Italian magazine Autosprint published (possibly still do but I no longer have a subscription?) individual lap times as part of their coverage of each race.  But I am currently separated from my collection and so unable to tell you if they did so for the period in question.

I couldn't remember if it was Autosprint or Rombo which published the driver's times but they were certainly published in the early eighties as I spent four holidays in Italy, 1980 to 1982 and 1985, and they were in the magazines then.

Yes, I've seen an example of that in 1986. But, how far back does it go? The 1972 - '81 period is the real crunch!

Maybe I can help, I have the lap times of following races: Argentina 1981

                                                                                           San Marino 1981

                                                                                           Monaco 1981

                                                                                           Spain 1981

                                                                                           Great Britain 1981

                                                                                           Italy 1981

                                                                                           VS Midwest (Las Vegas) 1981

 

                                                                                            according to Autosprint magazine 1981

Thank you DDMARC fot the offer on the seven 1981 Grand Prix's you have individual race lap times on. But it is the 1981 Canadian GP that specifically interests me
