Romain Grosjean has sometimes raised a smile with errors or radio rants, but his enormous talent is on a different plane from mine (or probably anyone else's on here). If there's an element of unfulfilled potential, which of us can't identify with that? Will I miss the volatile drama of his highs and lows, from F3 through GP2 and F1? You bet.

He'll end up in the Peugeot WEC team I think he's already said he's interested and wants to see how it goes. Yeah since 2015 would say he's not been the same driver that podium he got at Spa 2015 think was his best ever drive as that was outstanding not just because of the car but circumstances as well. He should have won Germany 2013 but the ill timed safety car ruined his best chance of a win as he pretty much won the race in the first stint which would enabled him to do one less stop than Seb and he was right behind him at the time and would have easily done 2 stops to Seb and Kimi's 3. He was super quick but super quick in the wall in his own words while he was at Lotus.

Grosjean doesn't really fit as a safe pair of hands. I would be surprised is Peugeot signed him for an endurance role.  Whinging about traffic, let alone crashing into traffic...

Pagenaud, Bourdais fill the french quota and are much safer pairs of hands.
