Some of you may be wondering where the long running thread on the Lotus 19 has disappeared to? 

Well I am able to tell you that it was removed by Autosport, without informing the mods / admin here on TNF at the behest of the current owner's lawyers, who have spent the best part of the summer hounding both myself (successfully), and son of the previous (and last before it burnt to a cinder) owner, Steve O'Brien (unsuccessfully).

 

I think that might tell you all you need to know..

Sorry guys, but this topic will have to be locked and there can be no further public discussion of this matter. As far as we are aware, the original thread was removed on the advice of Autosport's legal advisers. This was done without reference to either Tim, myself or Risil. The content is not lost, but it has - necessarily - been removed to a non-public section of the site. In due course it may be possible to restore the less contentious parts of it.
