Well, well, well... it's been just 8 races since F1 got it's 109th Grand Prix winner in the form of Pierre Gasly. For a long time at the Turkish Grand Prix, it looked as if #110 would be Lance Stroll, but it was not to be for the Canadian. For a long time in the Sakhir Grand Prix, it seemed as though we had our fianal answer for #110, and the answer duly came. Admittedly, not the answer we all thought, but an answer nonetheless. Sergio PĂ©rez.
39/130 polled Autosport forumites correctly guessed #110 would come this year, and 7/130 guessed PĂ©rez, with four (Anja, William Hunt, thegamer23 and TomNokoe) correctly guessing the combination of the two!
So then, can we find another oracle? Will it be as simple as George Russell in a week's time from now? Will it be Sainz in a resurgent Ferrari next year? Will the multiverse close in on itself, revealing that Markus Winkelhock actually did win the 2007 European Grand Prix and actually it turns out PĂ©rez was #111 after all?
Let's hear it, people.
