Auctioneers Gildings of Market Harborough, UK, are holding a sale of what looks like an exceptional sale of scale model cars and motor cycles, ranging from 1:4 through to 1:20 in scale. I know some of you have an interest in this sort of thing and the sale is well worth looking at via the on line catalogue. The sale is on January 12. Perhaps someone can post a link.

I was sent this one yesterday, quite a collection in the US:

Lots of Fords in there, but a strange inclusion is a number of Nash Metropolitans, one said to have a 6-cylinder engine.

You have to love auctioneer's spiel - 'Property of a Gentleman' excuse me, is that Mr Darcy over there, Miss Bennett? And as for the Metropolitan 'tastefully restored as a taxi' - a new definition of tastefully...
