Sad news from the USA.

If revs were the hallmark of Honda's racing, cubic inches were  his signature

That is very, very sad.

I did at times go to his site just to see what he was offering or developing.

For a while the contents of his engines were listed, along with price but lately spec. were "call for detail." type thing.

Motor sports is losing people that cannot be replaced.

125 cubic inches (2 litre) is a sensible size for an engine.

Oh wait - that's per cylinder!

It's sad to see him pass, but I find it difficult to mourn a life well lived. He lasted to 77 and produced more in that time than most of us could ever hope. Good job, Sonny! That's the checker.

But I would like to.

I don't think I do. I love life and have no wish to die, but I think it's important for us to accept and appreciate the fleeting nature of our being.

2 litre is a nice size for a drink bottle.

When asked how big his Can -Am engine was didn't Ferrari say "Cylinders the size of wine bottles"

Might have been better if they'd been the size of Magnums.
