Good morning, Tim... I'm told you're celebrating a birthday...

So, Many Happy Returns; hope you are keeping safe and well and have a joyful day.

(And thanks for your continued application of a gentle hand in helping to keep TNF in order and a pleasant place to be.)

Best regards, Tony.

And many happy returns from soggy Cheshire. Your knowledge of racing history and your ability to find old TNF threads is better than any search engine.   Long may it continue.

Oh blimey, I really wasn’t expecting this. Thank you so much for these very kind (and undeserved) sentiments. I’m finding it difficult to get my head around actually being this old, but this has given me one hell of a boost.

Now, I wonder who spilled the beans. I have my eye on a prime suspect ... ;)

Beginning to sound like a birthday that ends with a zero. Whatever it is, maybe the new 50, maybe slightly more... enjoy!

Happy birthday, Tim.

I liken it to a chief librarian who not only knows where every book is but has also read them all too.

Happy birthday Tim!

Happy Birthday from the Colorado River!

On this being “undeserved,” I change accents and call “Bullocks!” Very well deserved!

Thanks for everything; the knowledge, the temperament, the passion, the compassion, the memories... and have a great evening!

(I owe some letters ‘round here, too, just a bit distracted now, Sorry...)

Just seen this - Many Happy Returns Tim - they tend to come so quickly after a certain point that the Doppler effect is noticeable...

Enjoy the Age of Enlightenment.

On my birthday a couple of years ago a "friend" said: "You don't look 70.  You might have done 10 years ago but..."  Obviously, I wouldn't dream of saying such a thing to young Tim.

Borrowing the title (I hope)  from Kenneth Neve’s book on his life with his 1914 Humber GP car, (again, I hope)  I am a “Little behind the times” , I offer my belated birthday good wishes and thanks for doing what you do so well for us here.

Travelling, as so often, more in hope than expectation

Okay so, the day has passed into history, I get it, but in the spirit of recent suggestions about birthday songs, I'd suggest that nothing beats the Cubes:

First time I heard that, it was the original Icelandic version on The Chart Show, on Channel 4.  Must have been soon after it came out.

Thought the screen had gone on the blink because of the primitive video.  Then I thought the sound has.  Then it rapidly dawned on me that this might be just about the greatest thing I had ever heard in my life.

May I say thank you once again for all these very nice comments. I usually try not to bother too much about my birthday, especially now I’ve had so many, but all this has given me a nice warm glow inside. I’m especially impressed (or maybe worried) that Ensign14 didn’t post the version of Happy Birthday by his beloved Altered Images. ;)

Thanks everyone. :) :)

Hey, that's pretty up to date! It says you can order doctor's masks from Music International - how did they know about CoViD twenty-five years ago?
