Too bad Tom Sneva crashed and wasn't able to take part in the race. Good thing is he is not injured. Hope to see him and his Buick at Long Beach

Bobby Rahal is furious enough not to refer to Bernard Jourdain by name! They're both out of the race, anyway.
In all honesty chances are that Bobby never even knew his name, since it was only Bernard's third race in Indycar.

Just caught up on the race. The field spread back then was incredible. Mears was just on another planet that day.
I’m enjoying the slightly chunky look of the cars, compared to the sleeker stuff I was brought up on in the mid-90s. Good to see all the familiar names.
Looking forward to Long Beach. I’ll still be following this season with you guys, even if I can’t always catch them “live”.
