Full length race coverage ESPN versions for the following for some retro races in the off season.
1988 -17 races Mclaren dominance senna fans
1989 -12 races. late 80s Mclaren fans but Prost
1995 -4 races. But beeing added through the season
2000 -19 races. Shumi fans
2002 -8 races
I like the retro ESPN coverage with 90s video game music.
Being ESPN it is outside FOM takedowns.

Which is to say, watch them while you can.

How did they manage to get 17 races from 1988?
FOM still own the pictures from the ESPN coverage btw.

The driver at the beginning of the video is, I think, Nanni Galli in the Iso Williams (Marlboro livery + yellow helmet)

If that was done in The Netherlands, no cars would have stopped.

I was definitely there, just don't remember who gave me ride from Tallinn to Riga, probably the engineer of #86...
I speak no German but seems I was mistaken, thinking Azerbaijan had no racing traditions. Seems there was at least one Azer racer in Soviet era, probably even better than that Uzbek guy #22

There was a vey big accident in the Peter Auto Group C race at Barcelona. The driver, Soheil Ayari (ex-F3000, ex-GT/Sportscar... so somebody who knows exactly what he's doing), was not injured. Apparently, a brake line was burned through and he lost the brakes.
I shudder to think what would have happened if this had been a Porsche 962...
