I remember at the time being confused/bemused/surprised at this car not actually having the word McDonald’s on it anywhere
My favourite thing about that one is how Kanaan had a Honda engine but his teammates used Mercedes-Benz. No idea how Forsythe managed to arrange that one.

The answer seems to be "more than you'd think"....though I am unsure if McDonald's qualifies as meat
It's interesting because other than the huge multinational fast food chains, many of the products are sold in quite limited markets and one isn't always aware they are advertising companies who sell meat. Also most of my meat isn't branded so I guess I'm not familiar with some of the brands that are available to me.

Well if Burger King and McDonalds are getting thrown in here, how about...
In-N-Out Burger (long time sponsor of drag racing in the US)

Taco Bell (John Andretti famously drove a Taco Bell Top Fueller in the NHRA, and was also sponsored by them in NASCAR)

And erm... meat of a different kind...
Hooters have sponsored more than a few cars over the years
And there was an Australian touring car team in the 90's sponsored by a Melbourne Brothel

Another Black and Gold scheme this one legit JPS part-sponsor. PERDIGAO is/was a Brazilian Food producer that seems to have included meaty type products - the birdy emblem maybe a clue. They merged with Sadia in 2009 to form Brasil Foods.
More interesting is Mauricio Gugelmin in F3000 March 86B run by West Surrey Racing. I'm not sure but I think it is Dick Bennetts kneeling.

The interesting thing about this thread is how almost all of the meaty sponsorships are on American cars. No wonder the average US citizen is a little....let's say chubby.
The worrying thing about this thread is that there are a couple of mentions of jerky. This forum's deity, Lord William Storey, is the MD of Wolf Jerky Ltd. When the Rich Energy malarkey finally runs out of steam, he has a whole new product to promote*.
* just to comment that I have seen as much Wolf Jerky as I have Rich Energy cans. As in, none.

I think it was basically Tasman but under new 'ownership' which Foysthe was using for the franchise/voting advantage. Which I recall didn't go very well. Bryan Herta was supposed to drive that car in 2000 as a Swift-Honda but that fell apart for whatever reason(turning into the Tarso Marques Dale Coyne Swift-Ford) and Herta made one appearance at Laguna in a Forsythe Reynard-Ford like the Players cars, picking up a full-time 3rd Forsythe in 2001. I don't know if the 00/01 cars were Full Forsythe or still Tasman/Forsythe.

It might have been when it was still walking around, but I suspect that's not what you meant...
