Hi,

Looks like I can't login since the website update, it just tells me my username or password is invalid.

Is this a known issue?

I found this. You need to reset it at the motorsport.com login page.

Yeah, ditto.

For anyone reading this trying and failing to reset your Autosport password, just to make it clear from the advice above, looks like you need to do this at motorsport.com now. If you just click the 'forgot password' at the Autosport site without doing this, it just sends you a verification code but doesn't say you need to use it at motorsport.com.

You still see ads :(

To be a touch more prescriptive (please correct me if any of this didn't work/is wrong)

1. Go to motorsport.com.

2. Try to sign in as shown by the red arrow:

C0bvTRO.png

3. Your Autosport credentials probably won't work.

4. Click 'forgot password'

5. The site will ask you for your email address and email you a verification code.

6. Go to your email inbox and retrieve the code.

7. Enter the verification code at motorsport.com.

8. Change your password.

9. Log in with your new password at Autosport.com.

At present, there are still adverts everywhere, even for subscribers.

I got the logon screen on Autosport, used my regular password, was logged on and have not seen a single advert.

7. Enter the verification code at motorsport.com.

Where?

I have no idea why the website has forgotten the password I've been using for ages, so I object on moral grounds that it thinks I have forgotten it.  But I get the verification code and no indication whatsoever what to do with it.

When you say 'I forgot my password' at Motorsport.com, the onscreen direction then changes to ask you to input the code. This doesn't happen if you try this at Autosport.com.

Why lots of instructions/work arounds for Motorsport, com when the problem is with Autosport.com?

Looks like the entire website has been moved to the same server, as it now shows up as hosted in Germany.

The forums are hosted in Ireland, BTW!

I have no issues with logging in but have noticed my settings have changed since the upgrade, i.e. my e-mail address, do I update that here on Autosport?

I get the same thing...

{"status":true,"url":"/password/recovery/confirm/cm9iaW5ob3J0b24xQGhvdG1haWwuY29t?client_id=5\u0026popup=1\u0026response_type=code","message":"Verification code for restore password was sent. Check your email!"}

It seems clear to me that the unification with Motorsport.com has completely denied us the possibility to login with our Autosport accounts: an account wich, in my case, has a valid and active subscription that I pay annually, and I'm now unable to use.

Resetting you Motorsport account will only allow you to login into the site with another account, unlinked from the previous one that you used on Autosport.com

Waiting for a quick clarification on the matter here.....

A very poor show I would say..!!

A slap in the face for long-term Autosport members.

Ok, I managed to recover my account by using the "Forgot password" function, but from the Autosport.com site, not Motorsport.com

I feel that by using the "Forgot password" function in Motorsport.com only resets the password for that account, not the Autosport.com one, even if it looks like they should be unified.

Just a suggestion, but for anyone experiencing problems it might be worth removing all existing cookies for the autosport.com domain and then logging in again. Doing that will log you out of both the main site and the forums - the two accounts are entirely separate, even if you have the same username on both.

When I reset my passwords my password manager - Bitwarden - actually set both up as new domains - accounts.autosport.com and accounts.motorsport.com.

Not a fan. This whole thing sucks. Too many adverts, lost the full bleed look... losing account info sets the wrong tone right off the bat. Sigh.

Looks like I wont be visiting this site as religiously as I had been for the last 20 years. I was an AtlasF1 member.

Damn.

No problems here. Password still works and no ads visible.

Not sure if makes a difference, but throwing in there - No issues, no adverts - All I had to do was log in to Autosport using regular password.

It doesn't even recognize my email address to allow me to reset my password.

If you have a contact in management, will you ask them to come into this thread and address the problems?

I'm on a brand new machine right out of the box, nothing works for me.
