Yes it’s been canned.

I’ve transferred by bookings to next year.

Yes, it was announced last month IIRC.

Back in December actually.

Had my re-book done and dusted by January.

My ‘Glamping’ company & the IOM ferry company transferred my bookings at no extra cost.

No.
I may be crazy but I don’t think I’d be up to that standard of crazy.

Really want to see this and I have a friend that lives there. The problem is that traditionally I’m on tour at that time and also it falls in the week around the 500.

Maybe next year...

We’ve been researching the trip for a couple years now.  It looks like glamping either in the village or near Creg Ny Baa.  We want to go for the whole thing.  The pandemic puts a serious kink in us doing anything like that for a few years.

I imagine there won't be much real roads racing at all this year. No Northwest 200 and who knows if the Ulster GP will ever come back. I guess the Oliver's Mount races are back (I was there the race weekend with the two accidents that caused for it to be cancelled until there were safety improvements... ) but I have no idea about the Irish Schedule. Maybe Skerries in July? Cookstown 100?

I think Armoy is still intended to go ahead on 30/31 July preceded by Skerries on 3/4 July and then Cookstown on 10/11 Sept.

Ref the IOM, I went in 2018. Got an Easyjet flight from Gatwick at 8.05 on the Weds and was on the island by 9.20. Managed to get a lift to Quarterbridge with some lads I met on the plane Saw the Lightweight TT and 2nd Supersport TT as well as the Zero event ( can't bring myself to call it a race let alone a TT !) along with Senior & Sidecar qualifying,  Plane back should've been 9.05 that evening but it hit a bird on the way over and the curfew meant they couldn't fly an engineer from the mainland to fix it so in the absence of any available accommodation on the island we all had to sleep on the floor of Ronaldsway airport and get a plane out first thing the next day.   :well:

I booked the same flights in 2019 but it rained all week and the forecast was for rain that day so I didn't bother going fortunately as nothing happened on track so I avoided 11 hours of mooching about with nothing to do !

Never been there for the TT but we had a family holiday there a few years ago so I've driven the circuit (at legal speeds, obviously!).

If you go then enjoy the racing but take some time to look around the island as well. It really is a lovely place.
