Hi,

 

After crossing continents, I'm still working - slowly - on a 1/12 scale Lotus 72D; a heavily modified Tamiya kit.  Can someone help me solve this (to me) mystery?

I collect as many photos as I can find on the web.  I've circled an 'adjuster' but have no idea what purpose it serves.  Perhaps something on/around the oil cooler could be adjusted?

If memory serves, this was part of safety cutoff system that neutralized the electrical. It was attached to a pull ring near the roll over bar.
