Marc top Honda on his first race back: check

Miller and Zarco visiting their good friend gravel: check

Rins binning it from a podium position: check

Vintage Vinales?: you bet

I wonder if we will also get the Quartararo/Yamaha mid-season choke.  :stoned:

Quatararo superb today again. Think Rins was over the limit trying to keep up with him to be honest. Yamaha need to get Morbidelli on the factory bike. Vinales just isn't good enough.

Commentators were saying that Morbidelli is not a happy chap and is supposedly on the market.

True or not, if I was in charge at Ducati I'd try to sign him no questions asked, they're just wasting their time with Miller.

Fabio was very impressive today, but it was a help for him that Bagnaia started from outside the Top 10, he had good pace.

Miller is having a horrible time, but it's too early to ditch him. Ducarti would be wise to get Franco ASAP though and sort the seats out later.

And Portimao is indeed a terrific circuit. Hopefully it gets a permanent spot on the calendar from now onwards.

I like Jack and I'm being harsh, I'm sure he'll get a few decent results throughout the season.

But he's just too inconsistent for a factory rider (and doesn't strike me as someone who copes well with the added pressure) and better suited to an underdog role.

On the long run, I think Bagnaia and Morbidelli would be a pretty strong duo actually. Bagnaia sometimes is scary fast, if he hooks it up he'll be one hell of a rider. And Morbidelli is already a very composed rider, I think they would compliment each other nicely.

It's completely normal. Last year he finished second, far ahead of the rest yamaha riders and he was about to win the title. Yamaha in a wise decision as usual decided he didn't deserve official material or support, giving him the 4th Rider threatment. First race he lost the race with the faulty launch system. Why he shouldn't be pissed off?
