Sadly Joe Saward on Twitter has disclosed that Richard Parry-Jones has died in a tractor accident. Sincere condolences to all concerned.

Sad news.
RPJ was one of the few real "car guys" at Ford.
One afternoon I was using his office (Ford, Dunton) to attend a video conference and noticed a model of a Sierra with wheels on the roof. I asked him about the extra wheels and he informed me it was a gift given to him after he flipped a Serra on its roof!
