Definitely Russel’s fault. Looks like he slightly clipped the grass on the right there and ended up in a spin, crashing into Bottas.
Where else did he have to go at that closing speed? Also... why wasn’t Bottas looking in his mirrors and why would you not defend the inside line?

The racing line switches sides on this 'straight' several times, especially at the end where the speeds are highest. It almost invites a shunt like this.

He clipped the grass because he made an evasive move. The track went left and Bottas kept his wheel straight if I saw it correctly.

For me view from Raikkonen's cam kind of confirms it was 100% Russell fault.

We need an ‘at fault’ poll
Oh all right.

Russells fault for me. Kimi's cam shows that Bottas didn't actually do anything wrong.

Hmm, didn’t really look like an evasive move to me. Track is tight there anyway.

Also, wet offline on slicks. Sounds like his started getting wheelspin when he went offline.
From Raikkonen's view, the car is bottoming quite alot. Not sure if thats a factor?

Racing incident caused by track profile, slippery conditions and two drivers who are not the best at wheel to wheel racing.
I base this opinion on nothing.

Bottas moved like Hungary last year (or was it 2019?) But the crash was Russell's fault, he lost it with one wheel on the grass.

Oh all right.
What’s the ‘other’ option for? Ericsson?

Seb Vettel!

I would probably still go with Racing Incident.

THIS IS WHY I DONT DO POLLS LOL
(for real though, because there always seems to be someone who complains their view is not captured in the options)

Brundle etc. talk of Bottas jerking to the right. I've yet to see that. Russell lost it and took them both out. Whether he touched the grass or not, I don't know. Russell to blame for me.

George equally shouldn't have slapped Bottas helmet. Neither showing they deserve a Mercedes drive there..

Yep. Loads of room there... I’ve no idea what Brundle is seeing

As I posted in the race thread, it reminds me of the Rosberg-Hamilton crash. The guy in front closes the door right on the limit of what's allowed and the guy behind has just too much extra speed to do much but run out of road.

Imho Russell lost the car when his wheels went over the white line

I was for real terrified that another car was going to plough into them while they were distracted by their argument. Probably not likely but still.

I thought The Russell was heading over to check on Bottas as he hadn’t moved out of the car yet. Instead it was to swear at him and bang him on the head.
Imagine if that behaviour came from a nationless driver...

the moment Russel moved right, look at how Bottas is hugging the left white line. Track is about to move left.
Bottas keeps following the racing line, as you can see by the lighter grey asphalt.
The moment Russell hits the grass. Bottas is now to the left of the racing line. Again, we can see this by watching the lighter grey asphalt.
I'm convinced Russell thought Bottas was pushing him wide.

That's utter nonsense. Russell's reaction comes after Bottas sticks a finger up at him.
Quit your casual xenophobia.

Bottas was following the racing line... This incident is quite similair to the incident between Button and Hamilton in Canada 2011. It happens to the best

To be fair, he shouldn’t be scrapping with a Williams to begin with. Embarrassing.

He can't choose to drift across to anywhere near the racing line when he's entering the kink well to the inside and another car is getting a monster tow on him.

Russell's reaction was atrocious.
Bottas sticking his middle finger in Russell's face was ok?
