What happens if a driver locks his brakes under the SC and has to take a short cut (resembling Monza's first turn) and thus passes the SC?  Does he drop down to his original place? If it's a SC period, others shouldn't be allowed to pass him, no? Or he will gets disqualified for this mistake. And what if Bernd Mayländer spins it? Should the queue come to halt completely or will everyone be disqualified? :drunk:

In that situation he'd have to drop back behind the SC or get a penalty. To be fair, if he's driving fast enough lock up and overshoot the safety car just by locking his brakes he's probably driving way too fast and would be getting a penalty anyway. The question in bold makes no sense. It's the opposite of what happened with Max. They'd be well ahead and nobody behind would have to slow down to avoid passing him. Only the SC would have to pass him.

If the safety car crashes, it would be treated like any car in the safety car crashing, and the field would continue round under deltas. If the crash was not enough to cause a red flag, the spare safety car would pick up the field.
