Best driver: Verstappen, untouchable.

Worst driver: Ricciardo. Just what is going on with baffles me.

Best team: Ferrari took the midfield by surprise.

Worst team: No shockers.

Best overtake: Norris on Perez.

Worst overtake: Leclerc ballsing it up on Raikkonen.

Best moment: Max leaving elevens on the finish line (also it was the finish)

Worst moment: Realising we weren’t going to see any rain/safety car/excitement whatsoever.

And the race in a sentence: Never mind, the next one will be better. What? It’s where?!

2/10.

Best driver: Norris - Surprised neither he or Verstappen were chosen for Driver of the day, I know Leclerc had all the overtakes but only because he sent himself to the rear of the field.

Worst driver: Ocon/Ricciardo - Just a miserable race for the two of them compared to their teammates. Ocon in particular was nowhere, Ricciardo at least had a great start before an engine issue ended his chance for points.

Best team: Ferrari - They did the opposite to last week and came alive during the race on the different strategy.

Worst team: Haas - I guess being nowhere, but Williams gave it a good go by destroying a golden opportunity for points on pure pace.

Best overtake: One of Leclercs I guess.

Worst overtake: Also one of Leclerc’s, maybe when clipped Raikkonen, or rubbed wheels with Alonso, but puncturing Gasly’s tyre and destroying his own front wing was the big offender.

Best moment: Russell in the points on pace alone.

Worst moment: Russell crashing out of the points thanks to a reliability isse. At least he’ll have another opportunity here next week.

And the race in a sentence: Dull, it was made a little better by drivers who started the race on an alternate strategy, but otherwise no one seemed able to get close enough in the crucial zones to make a pass.

Best driver: Verstappen. HM: Russell
Worst driver: Mazepin. I usually don't pile on him, but he was giving Mick a fight in the first stint and then managed to finish a minute (?) behind which is just shocking pace.
Best team: Ferrari for their surprising race pace, Red Bull losing a podium with the slow stop put them behind.
Worst team: Williams. Not only the only reliability casualty, but it was at the worst possible moment.
Best overtake: Leclerc on Alonso.
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Räikkönen.
Best moment: Pérez pitting and getting after Bottas so we got something to be excited about in the final laps. HM: Leclerc's charge through the field (not a moment though).
Worst moment: Russell's first pitstop. HM: Pérez catching up to Bottas with traffic around, but the cameras were on Lewis.

And the race in a sentence: Quintessentially Williams and of course it was in Austria.

Best driver: Verstappen
Worst driver: Mazepin
Best team: Red Bull
Worst team: No-one was worse than normal
Best overtake: I guess... something Leclerc
Worst overtake: Something Leclerc
Best moment: The bit from the start of the race until T2 (or T3 if you like), when we thought things could happen.
Worst moment: From L1 T3 -> Finish

And the race in a sentence: Rally Safari Kenya was good!

Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: None stood out.
Worst overtake: No botched overtakes
Best moment: Russell running 8th in the early stages on legitimate pace.
Worst moment: Leclerc turning Gasly into a bowling ball at turn 3.

And the race in a sentence: Averages out having a good race at Ricard last week.

Despite my best efforts to remain invested, I fell asleep about ten laps in, was awake briefly for the pit stops, and then drifted off again, only awakened by Croft’s frenetic shouting on the last lap, to find that nothing substantial had really changed.

Worst of the season by a long way I think. At least at Monaco I can stay occupied guessing how much the yachts in the harbor cost.

Best driver: Verstappen, perfection
Worst driver: Ricciardo, I don't understand what's going on with him
Best team: Mercedes, Red Bull was just faster and red Bull dropt the ball twice with Perez, first the botched pitstop then going for a second pitstop 2 laps to late.
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Norris on Perez
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Raikonnen, he was very lucky not to puncture his rear tire
Best moment: Norris/Perez fight in the first lap
Worst moment: Russel having mechanical issues, when does this guy get a break.

6/10

Best driver: Verstappen
Worst driver: *sigh* Danny Ric
Best team: RB and Merc both did fairly well this weekend
Worst team: Haas I guess
Best overtake: Leclerc's send on Giovinazzi
Worst overtake: Latifi on Gasly :p
Best moment: Russel's excellent first stint
Worst moment: Russel's curse taking effect... again

And the race in a sentence:

An underwhelming race at a typically exciting circuit.

Upfront the race was pretty boring but in the midfield it was actually quite good, lots of cars in the mix fighting with very close pace

Best driver: Verstappen
Worst driver: Mazepin
Best team: Ferrari
Worst team: HAAS
Best overtake: Norris on Perez
Best moment: The start, what else?
Worst moment: The specific moment of the race when you realize it isn't going to get better!

So boring that I rather watch a movie instead!

5/10 is my rating.

Best driver: Verstappen, Sainz, Norris ... all were outstanding (finishing position reflected the cars they were in).
Worst driver: I know he had a great comeback drive, but Leclerc did involve himself in some questionable situations.
Best team: Ferrari ... what a turnaround!
Worst team: Two were disappointing ... Alpine, Aston Martin, but they are still a world ahead of Williams and Haas.
Best overtake: Norris on Perez
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Raikkonnen
Best moment: Sainz passing Hamilton (yes I know the circumstances, but it was fun to see)
Worst moment: Leclerc cutting Gasly's tire, sending him pinballing through the back markers.

And the race in a sentence: Not the worst ever, but a little bit of a letdown.

Worst race of the season by far (at least Monaco is crippled by track layout). 3/10.

I expect next week to be similar, unless we get extreme weather.

I thought it was alright - just not at the front. Sure, if you just look at the top two it was a complete borefest, but seeing some good overtaking, especially Leclerc coming back through, and a bit of unpredictability in the pack was nice. It wasn’t an absolute thriller but it was far from bad.

Best driver - Verstappen was perfect wasn’t he, dominant, unflappable.
Worst driver - Esteban Ocon - what’s happened to him? Ricciardo has big issues too, and Mazepin was poor as usual.
Best team - Ferrari absolutely maximised their results today.
Worst team - Alpine absolutely flattered to deceive this weekend.
Best overtake - Lando on Perez.
Best moment - George Russell running eighth on merit
Worst moment - George Russell’s race then inevitably unravels leaving him with 0, still.

7/10

It was OK. 6/10

Good drive by Norris. 5th is basically 1st.
Ric was poor.

Not much really stood out.

Best driver: Max
Worst driver: Mazepin
Best team: Red Bull
Worst team: Haas
Best overtake: Norris
Worst overtake: Those simple drs drivebys
Best moment:Nice midfield battles
Worst moment:Almost impossible to pass without drs

And the race in a sentence: First race sofar which Red Bull dominated. (Pretty similar as Mercs in Spain. Also noted the nice performance by Ferrari and Alfa teams:)

The most exciting moments during the race happened every 10 minutes when I checked the weather radar to see if the thunderstorms would hit the circuit. Nevertheless, I gave it a 5/10.

Best driver: Carlos Sainz
Worst driver: Charles Leclerc (Yes I dont get why he was DOTD after destroying Gasly's race and nearly tagging everyone he overtook)
Best team: Red Bull
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: Cant recall
Worst overtake: The one knocking parts of Kimi's front wing
Best moment(s): Mercedes radio(s) to Hamilton
Worst moment: Russell's botched pitstop.

And the race in a sentence: Boring race only made worth watching due to midfield scraps.

Best driver: Max Verstappen
Worst driver: Leclerc, I guess? There wasn't anyone truly terrible, but Leclerc DID destroy Gasly's race
Best team: Ferrari
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: Stroll on Alonso lap 1
Worst overtake: Leclerc on Kimi
Best moment: Max's celebrations
Worst moment: Russell's retirement

Good result, bad race.

Indirectly also impacted Giovinazzi's and Latifi's race I think?

Best driver: Toss up between Kimi and Carlos.  Both made impressive gains.  Leclerc would have been but for taking out Gasly
Worst driver: Tough one.  Didn't see anything shocking but toss up between Ric or Seb.  Ric I think.  Honorary mention to Perez for being slow
Best team: RB would have got if they hadn't fluffed SP's pit stop.  Merc?
Worst team: Possible there were howlers but just don't remember them.
Best overtake: Leclerc made a few, maybe his on Ocon?
Worst overtake: Perez on Norris.  Nothing bad that Perez did, but I think I heard Norris say "after you, sir"
Best moment: Nothing standout: it was a sum of its parts.
Worst moment: Realising that Perez was just too slow to catch Bottas in time, despite having the better tyres and, by all accounts, car

And the race in a sentence:

Not spectacular, but plenty going on in the midfield to keep me engaged.

Best driver: Max Verstappen
Worst driver: Leclerc, he does not seem to know where the corners of his car is.
Best team: Red Bull, of course
Worst team: Haas, who else?
Best overtake: There was very few overtakes that was not coincidental (first lap) or due to different strategies
Worst overtake: See above
Best moment: The disbelief in Merc when they realized they did not have the fastest car.
Worst moment: the last 20 laps of nothing

My evaluation of the Styrian GP:

Best driver: Max Verstappen, I can't argue with an impressive pole position followed by perhaps his most dominant race win to date. Honourable mention for Lando Norris, who achieved the maximum possible result in both qualifying and the race.

Worst driver: Nikita Mazepin for being his usual slow self, no one else really stood out to me as performing very badly (Ricciardo was disappointing in qualifying, but I thought his race wasn't too bad apart from the loss of power which cost him several places and possibly a points finish).

Best team: Red Bull for providing Verstappen with the car to secure a dominant win, Perez probably should have been on the podium (I think he lost more time not being able to pass Norris than he did from the slow pit stop).
Worst team: Haas for not being able to compete with the others (I feel it's harsh to suggest Williams as it was one of their more competitive weekends, Latifi nearly made Q2).
Best overtake: I enjoyed Leclerc's overtake on Giovinazzi, he seemed pretty late on the brakes but he pulled that off better than his pass on the other Alfa/Sauber.
Worst overtake: It was difficult to enjoy watching Perez and Bottas pass Norris, I understand why he did it but it was disappointing to see them pass so easily.
Best moment: The first lap battle between Norris and Perez was great to watch.
Worst moment: Russell's lengthy first pit stop, which took him out of the running for points contention having run very strongly up to that point.

And the race in a sentence: Felt a bit like 2020 with Red Bull and Mercedes well clear of the rest but the other way round, with better racing in midfield than near the front.
