Bit of a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone has some specifications for the unloved model named above?

I'm talking the body size and the wheelbase, not the mechanicals.

From Pomeroy on the G:

wheelbase 96"

front track 51"

rear track 51"

Another section in the book has a table of 'statistics for racing cars, 1947-51', and in that he lists 13.5 square feet frontal area for 'ERA', but no model specified.

Having completed a mediocre attempt at the above vehicle....

This was my first ever attempt at a balsa wood body, hollowed out to enable chassis, motor etc, to be fitted.

I now find that I need to make an F.2 Alta, from the same year.

Any dimensions available for this car, please?

There is a Facebook Group "Alta Cars" - https://www.facebook...242535762463097 - It may be worth asking there.

At the risk (well, certainty) of hijacking your thread Barry, please send details of the starting money for the forthcoming race with the ERA and Alta.
