Mine was ~208 km/hour in a pretty big Mercedes at a countryside highway in Thailand. Drove like that for about a minute. I had a feeling that the car was about to take off. Some planes actually do at a slower speed.

I was just browsing through our old picture albums and saw a bad looking picture taken in dubai, from inside our mercedes we had back then in the 80's(I was just a little kid so I wasn't driving). I wondered what was so special about the picture and noticed it had 160kph on the dash-board, and apparently it had gone much faster than that on those loooong highways(not the new ones you're talking about of course).Originally posted by Eartha Kitten
240kpmh in my Audi A4 Quattro 2.8l on the Dubai Abu Dhabi highway. This is a 100km brand new 4 lane highway completely flat with hardly any cars around. The car still had a little left but I got a little worried (2 kids and all!!!)![]()

My pop has a CBR600 F2 (from 1992). He said he only went up a bit past 200kph near the sepang track(long wide highways, no other cars etc.). At the Shah Alam Batu Tiga race track he reached about 180 on the straights, and he's gonna try out the sepang f1 cicuit within a few weeks.Originally posted by ebe
