The fuss surrounding Maverick Vinales' crazy race reminded me of the last rider to piss off Yamaha, Luton Boy.  I'm pretty sure he was black balled by the company after his stitch up of Bill Ivy, but I've not found any details.

 

Anyway, I discovered Read is all but skint.  Last year he was taken ill and one of his friends launched an appeal so he can "...live a more comfortable life..."

 

How has one of the tightest ever world champions spent all of his money?  Has he forgotten where he's hidden it?

Chronic serious health problems can burn through finances at a rate that is almost incomprehensible. Sad, but true.

Shouldn't think losing his partner Wendy ( Markey-Amey ) to covid whilst she was recovering in hospital from a fall during March helped his health
