For a brief moment, but you had to be there.

Struggling to figure out what's funny....but everyone's sense of humour is different. Plenty of people don't "get" Monty Python whereas I literally roll around with laughter at some sketches.

Doesn't say anything, people watch and like stupid things all the time in droves.

So far the biggest problem I see with this thread is people that need to lighten up a bit complaining that a joke of Lando's mechanics is not funny enough for them

Someone really needs to lighten up.

I do find the F1 teams’ social media posts trying to be edgy and funny a bit cringing for the most part. I suppose they are trying to play to a younger audience.
I think that people have a massive tendency these days to overstate their reaction to stuff too...the number of times I see people comment they are ‘literally crying with laughter’ when in reality they probably had a smirk at best...

28,000 out of the 860,000+ who watched it.

Typical likes to views ratio ranges between 3 and 5%, so not sure what's your point there.

I still remember a butterfly or bird getting captioned by FOM during one of the lengthy breaks at (iirc) Canada 2011.

You’re completely missing the point. Why not talk about the likes to dislikes ratio? You didn’t expand on that? I wonder why?
Even if 10% of the 28,000+ plus people truly like the video, that’s 2,800 people. Which shows that at least some people found it funny.
Humour is personal and subjective. If you like it great, if you don’t that’s also great. But why try and bully people that do like it. It’s sad that you take such an approach.
Anyway I find the video funny and I don’t apologise for that 😂😂

Millions of people bought The Birdie Song and Agadoo....does that make them good music?
Funny things that actually happened in F1......Kevin "Suck my balls" Magnussen and Ralf Schumacher accidentally saying "we f***ed up" after qualifying once live on ITV. At least I thought those were genuinely funny. Some of the pranks Senna and Berger pulled on each other.

There are some funny F1 clips between 1985 and 1993, like this:

Glad I'm not the only one who struggles to find what's "funny" about Lando. He comes across more as a bit immature to me, if I'm being honest...but then he is only 21, I suppose.

This video always makes me laugh, an excerpt from the '95 Australian GP. In the comments you can find the highlights.

Wasn't Olivier Grouillard shown live on TV pissing in the forest beside the track just before the parade lap of the Belgian Grand Prix once....and perhaps the only occasion when Murray Walker was lost for words. That was amusing.
the cops chasing after Colin Chapman at the Dutch GP in the mid 60s is priceless.

The funniest thing in F1 was Taki Inoue's ongoing feud with safety cars. It was like Clouseau and Kato.

I don't know about Olivier Grouillard, but Gregor Foitek did something like that at Phoenix one year, after stopping during a prectcice session.

Jack Brabham stopped for a piss during a race. I cannot remember which one.
